以上的一些问题我都发现有个共同点，就是那些问的人都还没开始报考ACCA 就很担心ACCA 的难度...
今天我以过来人的身份（半工读）分享自己的小小观点.
1. ACCA 会难吗？
其实我听我SBL lecturer 说过，ACCA 属于professional certificate exam (professional body), 所以属性不同与academic degree (University degree). 我两个都有，所以我明白差别在哪里.
对于死背书不太会运用或者common sense 不强的朋友们可要小心了，因为practical answer 对于prof cert exam比较重要也比较容易得到分数...把学到的知识运用在考试题上，有些时候common sense answer 也会帮你拿分数，所以必须活用你学习到的知识...
如果你问我难不难，我会告诉你，半工读比较起full time study半工读比较难。原因很简单，就是工作后很累又要上课，工作赶时又不能上课，上课时也不能专心因为心挂挂在工作。拿study leave 也不够时间读，同时还要看老板脸色等等...
但是都下定决心要做了，就算难就算累用个2-3年来完成吧对不对？当初你不会走路时，你不会写自己名字时也面对同样的难度啊对于你当时的年纪，但是就因为你没放弃学习面对改正所以今天你才会乱跑，所以今天你才能写你自己的名字啊~
所以它是难的，但是你有这个能力去完成它！
2. ACCA 能自学的吗?
对于我来说不能，因为我没有老师教导的话我也不清楚课本里面写的内容, 同时我的自律性是被动的，所以自学完全不适合我，我也不太鼓励朋友自学...会走火入魔的！哈哈 只是担心自己自学会误解课本内容，同时也拿不到从老师来的acca最新的资讯...
所以不鼓励哦，但是因为一些因素没办法必须要自学的话，你们必须加油哦~
3. P paper 有没有容易pass 的啊？
其实没有容易pass 的，因为passing rate 都在below 40...
至于有没有比较不那么鬼难的，这个就见仁见智，有些人说 P4(AFM) & P6(ATX) 会比较容易，但是也有人认为它们最难。

我本身是拿P4 & P6啦，我觉得都难呵呵呵...
4. SBL 是不是要写很多很多啊？
这个问题很多人在课堂上也问过老师，所以老师有解释。
老师是说其实不是越长越好，因为有个考生写了3个booklet 最后fail 了，同时也有考生写了3/4 booklet 而已却拿了接近80分.
老师说考官是看quality of answer 而不是quantity... SBL 是个CEO paper, 只要是有内容的答案都会拿分数，所以common sense 能帮忙拿分数。
所以答案不在多，在于精简...
5. 英文不好，grammar 不好能拿ACCA吗？
认识我的人都知道我的英文水平比较差，语法不会，单字量少，错字。但是我还是完成了。
我认为只要是你能表达出了考官要的答案自然你就拿到分数了...加上由于考试时间的关系，你的答案不可能写到标准的语法英文水平啦...所以放心啦,，英文不是ACCA 考试的全部...但也别太烂哦，不然会像我一样辛苦，一开始上课很多单词都不懂，所以不了解上课的内容...
6. ICAEW, ACCA, CPA, CIMA 哪个比较好啊?
其实厚，我也不懂，但是我拿ACCA 啦... 我相信各自都有各自的优缺点吧... 不好评论...
7. 如何做到边做工边完成考试成绩也及格啊？
我觉得有2个方面帮助我成功。
- 思想方面，我的大卫曾经告诉过我，要拿就认认真真地拿，认认真真地考，认认真真地pass... 把每次考试都当做只有一次机会去考去及格...
还有就是潜意识的方法，是Joe Fang 老师教的，时常想象自己考完的情况，同时放一些能帮助鼓励自己的东西在读书的地方附近...所以我借了我女友的ACCA Membership badge 放在我电脑桌前告诉我自己一定也要拿到...
加上我自身的祷告，我相信很多人祷告都会跟我一样希望题目简单，考试及格等等。但是上帝让我发现到以下的句子“ I wanted God to make it easy. Instead, He gave me the ability to endure” 当下我其实就发现了，其实我不需要考试的问题简单，我需要学的是能了解考试问题的能力...
最后你需要放松的歌曲来帮你度过复习的日子...
在生活方面，我的方法就是加强自律在复习上。
我每天下班晚饭后都用1小时来复习，虽然很累很想钓鱼... 刚开始只能30分钟，接下来45分钟但是日子久了就习惯了1小时。
每天上班的早上搭LRT 时也开PDF 来读，来了解内容。我觉得蛮有用的...
星期六日不是上课就是复习，所以非常anti social...认识我的朋友都知道我拒绝很多次的邀请去喝茶，唱歌，吃饭，看戏等等...这样的情况持续了两年！现在终于完了~
再来就是我在考试前的1个月我会开始加强复习，我甚至会delete FB & Instagram 来减少我对按手机的时间，刚开始不习惯，洗了又install 回（给人笑）...
我也会计算还有多少时间读，还有多少天才考试...来计划要专注的chapter... 有些chapter 需要比较多时间来复习...
最后通常到了考试的前2天我就会开始放松了，我不会再去读太多，我反而会一直想出去走走...
考试作答方面我都是follow lecturer 所教的方式，当然有些时候忘记或者不会回答时，common sense 就会救了你... 所以business common sense 很重要哦~
可能我写的分享的不够完整，如果有问题可以FB或者留言大家一起学习...
Since I have passed the ACCA exam (thanks to the Lord, I
have applied for membership but I have encountering a problem now), many of my
friends have asked me the following questions.
1. ACCA difficult?
2. Can ACCA self-study?
3. Which P paper (Optional) easy to pass?
4. SBL exam needed to write a lot?
5. English & grammar is important for ACCA exam?
6. ICAEW, ACCA, CPA, CIMA which one is better?
7. How to pass the ACCA exam for part-time student?
I have found that some of the above problems have in common,
that is, those who have asked questions have not yet begun to apply for ACCA, and
they are very worried about the difficulty of ACCA...
Today, I want to share some of my idea how to win the ACCA
exam.
Q1. ACCA difficult?
In fact, I heard from my SBL lecturer (Mr.Sivasathish) that
ACCA belongs to the professional certificate exam (professional body), so the exam
nature are different from the academic degree (University degree). I have both
now, so I understand the differences.
For those who study hard, remember all and throw everything
in to the exam you should be careful, because practical answer is more
important for prof cert exams and easier to get scores. Better way is apply the
knowledge you have learned to the exam questions. Sometimes Common sense answer
will also help you get the score, so you must apply the knowledge you have
learned...
If you ask me if it is difficult, I will tell you that part
time study is more difficult than full-time study. The reason is very simple.
It is very tired after work, I have to go to class. When I am in peak period of
work or closing period, I can't go to class. Even I attend the class I also
can't fully concentrate on my class because my mind is hanging at work. Apply study
leave for revision exam also need to look at the boss’s face & mood. Haha.
All these full-time study will not facing it.
Question here is difficulty. Since you enrolled to ACCA,
even if it is difficult, you still can use 2-3 years to complete it right? You
face it you win it. For example when we at the age of learning to walk, It is
difficult to us right? And we face it and learn it. Now you see you even can
run faster than your parents.
So it is difficult, but you have the ability to complete it!
2. Can ACCA self-study?
I can't, because if I don't have the teacher to teach me, I
don't know what is written in the textbook. At the same time, my
self-discipline is passive, so self-study is totally unsuitable for me. I also
don't encourage my friend self-study. I just worry that self-study will easy to
misunderstand the content of the textbook, and I can’t get the latest
information from ACCA lecturer about the exam and course.
So don't encourage self-study, but if there are some factors
that you needed for self-study. Study hard and get your reward back!
3. Which P paper (Optional) easy to pass?
In fact, there is no easy pass paper, because the passing
rate is in like below 40% for each sitting exam...
Some people may say that P4 (AFM) & P6 (ATX) will be
easier to pass, but some people think that they are the hardest.
I am taking P4 & P6, I think both are hard anywhere...
4. SBL exam needed to write a lot?
Many people have asked the same question in the classroom,
so the lecturer has an explanation.
The lecturer said that it is wrong mindset, because one
candidate who wrote three booklets in SBL exam and end up failed. At the same
time, another candidate wrote only 3/4 booklet but took nearly 80 marks.
The lecturer said that the examiner is looking for quality
of answer instead of quantity... SBL is a CEO paper, as long as there is a
reasonable answer will get some marks, so common sense can help get some marks
as well.
So remember quality of answer > quantity of answer…
5. English & grammar is important for ACCA exam?
Anyone who knows me knows that my English is poor, grammar
is bad and vocabulary also bad (can see from this blog right? hahahaha). But I
am still finished all the ACCA exam.
I think that as long as you can express your answer to the
examiner, and examiner understand what you trying to say, then you will get the
marks.
One more thing, due to the exam time limit only 3 hours,
your answer is impossible to write the standard grammar English level within
the timeframe. So English is not the whole ACCA exam needed... but please don't
be too bad in English, otherwise it will be hard to understand exam content
& question.
6. ICAEW, ACCA, CPA, CIMA Which is better?
Actually, I don't know, but I take ACCA... I believe that
each has its own advantages and disadvantages... No comment on this question.
7. How to pass the ACCA exam for part-time student?
I think there are 2 aspects that help me succeed.
In terms of thought/mindset, a brother of mine David told me
that if you want to take it, take it seriously, do it seriously, and pass it
seriously. Take each exam as only a chance to pass in the exam.
There is also a “Law of attraction”, taught by Mr. Joe Fang.
He taught me to put something which can encourage/motivate me craving to pass
ACCA. So I borrow my gf's ACCA badge put in front of my table. It makes me
setup my mind that I must get it as well.
With my own prayers, I believe that many people will pray
like me like I hope that the questions are simple, the exams pass, and so on.
But God made me find the following sentence "I wanted God to make it easy.
Instead, He gave me the ability to endure". Actually, I don’t need the
exam to be easy and simple. What I need is the ability to study, understand and
answer the exam questions. (Full prepare for the exam).
Finally, you needed some songs for your emotion management and
continue to study/revision.
In terms of living as part time student, my method is to focus
on strengthen self-discipline.
I using 1 hour for revision after work every night, although
it is tired. First time I try I can only get 30 minutes for focusing on study,
then improving to 45 minutes lastly I get used to it for 1 hour. So bro &
sis keep trying, your living pattern will change and the change will bring you
success in your exam.
Other than that, I also read the PDF study content when I
take the LRT every morning to work. I think it is quite useful as well. Fresh mind
to study.
For weekend, I choose to be anti-social. I refused many
invitations like yam cha, sing k, makan-makan, and etc... This kind of life
lasted for two years! It’s finally over now~
For revision, I will started my revision one month before
the exam date. I know during revision time I will using FB/Instagram so I
delete FB & Instagram to reduce my time on the phone. I am not used to it
at the beginning, and always install it back… haha normal la… FB &
Instagram too attractive…
I will also planning my study before 1 month of exam because
some chapters need more time to revision. When exam around the corner, I will
start relaxing. I won’t read too much already. I just want to have a relax mind
to facing the exam. One more important thing is follow lecturer advice on every
exam.

To those who are fighting now, keep it up you. Your hard
work will paid off.
